Recognizing
the importance of having loved ones close when you are
hospitalized, OSF
Saint Francis helps families locate appropriate housing
near the medical center. A
listing of all area motels and hotels that provide discounts
to the families of hospitalized patients is available from
the medical center's public relations office at 309-655-2321.
 In
addition, a facility exclusively for out-of-towners with
family members hospitalized in Peoria is also available. Located
three blocks from OSF Saint Francis, Family
House offers
a home-like setting. Nightly rates are $25 for
a room with two twin-size beds and $50 for an apartment
with
two
twin-size beds and a full-size sleeper sofa. Advance
reservations are not accepted. More information

Jameson Inn

OSF Saint Francis has a contractual agreement with the
Jameson Inn for discounted room rates. With
this agreement the Jameson Inn will make available
a designated number
of rooms at a significantly reduced rate of $53.00 per
night plus tax. Once the allotted rooms are filled,
additional rooms might be made available based on hotel
occupancy. For
room reservations you may call the hotel directly at 309-685-2556 or visit their
website.
Patients
may stay at the hotel free of charge prior
to or after a hospital procedure, provided they live
at
least 45
miles from Peoria and the hotel stay is deemed "medically
necessary." All reservations for patients
must be made through Public Relations at 309-655-2321
during
normal business hours (8am - 4pm Monday - Friday)
and through Security 309-655-2131 at other times.
